There are many modifications which replace the stickers of a 3x3x3 with different materials. This one uses coloured velcro. The material remembers the inventor of candyfloss which gave the puzzle its name. Additional pieces of velcro allow to flexible bandage the puzzle, although there have been other concept with flexible bandaging.
