A 3x3x3 which looks as if it had been made by stacking several dice.
This is one of many 3x3x3s which are made from or with 6-sided-dice. In this case some parts of the dice were cut away and the remaining bits were glued on pieces of plastic.
The earliest known documented sample was presented by Adam Zamora at Caltech in 2005.
The creatore choose his dice to give the puzzle a size of 57 mm per edge which is the size of a standard Rubiks Cube.
