The first puzzle in shape of bicone was made by Tony Fisher in 2007. Two years later a 3x3x3 in this shape was presented in an interesting two colour stickering scheme. Another 2 years later the first 4x4x4 was transformed into the shape of a bicone and only months later in the same year the creator presented the first 5x5x5.
Like with the preceeding puzzle he first truncated the puzzle into a hexagonal dipyramid and then sanded the puzzle further down.
