A puzzle similar to the famous "Towers of Hanoi" but more diffcult.
This puzzle resembles the towers of Hanoi, but it is more difficult. The goal is to swap the two towers. The problem is however that disks cannot freely slide all the way down each peg. A disk cannot move to a position lower than where it belongs in a finished tower.
There are two versions of the Panex puzzle. Panex Silver has pieces which tell the user at which level of the tower the piece belongs. The Gold version has pieces that look identical.
In 2010 it could be prooved that the optimal solution is 31537 moves long.
