A 2x2x2 shape variant inspired by Twister I and II.
This 2x2x2 was transformed by truncating only. It is a 2x2x2 from Seven Towns truncated down nearly to the ball core to achieve the same shape as Twister I and II.
In 2017 Grègoire Pfennig collaborated with Oliver Nagy to create 11 different shape variants for the Rubik's Cube World Championship 2017 in Paris. All 11 puzzles came as limited series' of giveaways of which 20 samples received a numbered sticker. All puzzles are shape variants and implemented by gluing extensions on an Eastsheen 2x2x2.
As the first puzzle they made Twisted 2x2x2, which is almost identical to the creation of Mr. Canuto. Differences are in sze, orientation of the spiral and the circular shape it takes when viewed from the top. Please refer to images 5-6.
