Lego 4x4x4

A 4x4x4 covered with lego tiles. This allows implementation of numerous bandaged variants all in one puzzle.

Three years after the "Ultimate bandaged 3x3x3" the same concept was realized with a Rubiks 4x4x4. The Lego tiles do not have the size to perfectly match the pieces of the core puzzle. Therefore the creator sanded down the tiles a bit and made them rounded.
Just like on the 3x3x3-variant the puzzle can be bandaged at will with additional lego tiles of sizes 2x4, 2x6, 4x4, ... The AI Cube and the Wall cube are shown in images 3-4.
This bring up an interesting question: "How many truly different variants can be implemented with this puzzle?" For the 3x3x3 there are 3563 variants but for the 4x4x4 this question is not answered yet. Serious estimations go up into over 100 millions!
