The concept of the Axis Cube applied to a Master Skewb.
The Axis Cube gave the name for a technique of puzzle building. "Axising" means to rotate a puzzle by 60° inside of its solid around a line going through a pair of opposite corners. If the original and resulting puzzle have hexahedral shape the shared volume of both puzzles is always a hexagonal dipyramid.
In this case the axis system of a Master Skewb was reoriented within the solid. The version of Traiphum Prungtaengkit is pillowed. Zhewei Jiang later created the not-pillowed version.
