A hexahedron with an unusual prismatic axis system.
This puzzle is an octagonal prism with two layers and hexahedral shape. Compared with a true octagonal prism this puzzle is restricted since the cut between the up- and down-sides allows only 90-turns. This allows the puzzle to have hexahedral shape and be shape-preserving. The reason for this are the two sets of cuts which are designed with different depths. Therefore this puzzle can be viewed as two tetragonal prisms fused into a hybrid puzzle.
