A Square-1 twisted by 45° inside its solid.
One of the earliest and bestknown shape transformations is the Fisher Cube which means a 3x3x3 is twisted by 45° inside its solid. The same technique is applied here to a Square-1. The resulting puzzle has a size equal to the original puzzle.
The patterns shown in the images give you an idea about the well known permutations which create unknown shapes.
