A redesigned version of the Hexaminx. This time with curvy cuts.
The Hexaminx is one of the most popular designs of Tony Fisher. The initial batch was sold out during DCD 2008 fairly quickly. Afterwards the few samples popping up on Ebay once in a while went up to very high prices and many puzzles started building their own to get one for their collection.
This is another of these rebuilt Hexaminx's. It was designed from scratch with CAD. Masters were made by a 3D printing service and duplicated by casting.
There are two significant changes compared with the original Hexaminx. The puzzle's body is white and the cuts are curvy. The latter property has the consequence that there are six pairs of two corners which are shaped and stickered identical and therefore indistinguishable.
