A beautiful shape transformation of the Cross cube.
A puzzle which could be named cross cuboctahedron. More than one decade before this puzzle (the exact time got lost) the extended cuboctahedron was first made. That puzzle is a 3x3x3 with the pieces of a cuboctahedron glued upon each side. This puzzle looks identical but allows more movements. It is therefore equivalent to the Cross cube (and therefore identical to a 5x5x5 with several pieces removed) although the corners of the inner 3x3x3 are unveiled here.
