Also known as "Split Domino".
With the mass production of the 2x3x3's this puzzle became possible. All eight edges of the 2x3x3 are halved and their halves remained as parts of the puzzle. The result is a puzzle with a strange bandaged-like behaviour.
One year later a row of puzzles with some split pieces has seen the light of day. The split 2x3x3 was the first one with this concept.
Beginning in 2012 a batch of this puzzle (handmade by A J Lu) was sold through hknowstore.
