A rainbow cube transformed into a half-truncated dino cube.
It is a well-know modification to extend a rainbow to make it look like Dino cube. This process was stopped halfway for this puzzle since only four triangular faces received extensions.
The puzzle's name is derived from its original puzzle (rainbow cube) and the fact that only one half (di-) of the triangles are extended.
Another name for this puzzle could have been half-truncated Dino cube, since this scheme of truncating only 4 of 8 corners is commonly adressed as half-truncated.
