A 3x3x3 which still has 6 sides but an additional twist.

A fascinating new shape for an old puzzle.
The first design for this was presented in 2008 by Adam G. Cowan. The first (handmade) sample was presented by Frank Schwartz in the same year.

In 2009 Eitan Cher presented the variant which can be seen here. He named it "Twister I", since there is a Twister II also invented by him. There the same transformation technique was applied to a Fisher cube.
This version from 2009 was custom made too. In 2011 Eitan Cher made his design available through shapeways.
Eitan's version was mass produced in 2015 by Calvin Puzzles. They are sold as "Eitan's Cube Twist".
