A 3x3x3 with innovatively restricted movements.
A racheting mechanism guarantees that a turn is only possible when all present arrows on the specific face are pointing into the same direction. If there are arrows pointing in both directions no movement is possible at all. Likewise, if there are no arrows on a face, that face can move freely.
The inventor made several samples of this puzzle (back then with different stickers) for the puzzle exchange during the international puzzle party (IPP) 2010 in Osaka. The puzzle also attended the design competition of that year. Image 9-11 show this version.
