The designer apllied the concept of the Axis Cube (see the separate entry) to a mass produced cubic 3x3x9. He built it from a WitEden 3x3x9 by sanding the puzzle down to a hexagonal dipyramid and then extended it into a cube again.
For filling up the hollow pieces he used Apoxie Sculpt, for extending pieces he used Fixit Sculpt, for a bit more detail and strength.
He needed 45 hours of work in a matter of 8 days. It was an entry for the puzzle advent calendar 2019.
