Not a megaminx but a face turning pyritohedron in shape of a dodecahedron. Unlike its predecessor, it was transformed into the other direction.

A pyritohedron is a distorted dodecahedron. The angles at which the sides of a dodecahedron meet are changed.
This is not the first face turning pyritohedron. The first one was presented in 2012 and has its own seperate entry. In the first variant the angle between the sides was enlarged, giving each pentagon one longer and four shorter edges compared with the original.
In this new variant the designer did the opposite: He shrank the angles between two sides and thereby created pentagons wwith one shorter edges and four longer edges compared with a perfect dodecahedron.
Playingwise the two puzzles are equivalent. Both have a jumbling only geometry and one can replicate all turns of one puzzle always on the other.
This was part of the Puzzle Advent Calendar 2023.
