This is not the first Crazy 3x3x3. Unlike the series from MF8 it lacks the corner pieces inside the circles. Since these internal corners are equivalent to the outer edges the solution stays the same at least for the fully symmetrical variant.
Similar to the series from mf8 there are also two non-isotrop variants. A lock on a face do not turn with the surrounding layer.
