I knew from the beginning of my twisty puzzles journey that I had to build something. The idea of The Seed is to complete the library of n-sided puzzles. I have never seen one based on a 3-sided solid. I don't know the name of this shape but it's made from 3 intersecting cylinders. The puzzle is doctrinaire face and edge turning and the mechanism is identical to a 1 layer cheese. It's 77 mm from corner to corner. The stickers are hand-cut and the colors are the only ones that ware available at the local book store

I forgot to mention it's printed in ABS in 0,1 mm resolution. The rubbing surfaces are completely smooth Ind I can't see any layers. I didn't expect anything like this. I'm amazed how this technology is developing so fast.

It's high time for me to get into 3D printing - I'll probably try this Bulgarian company out.

Very nice solid. I have for over two months of waiting for print 2*2*2 and 3*3*3 the same solid. Half of the the details I have printed, but I had to refuse their services. I arranged to print another print-service and today part of the puzzle was brought. The next delivery will be the puzzles.

They look great. I can't wait to see them shapeshifting.

I think that this is one of the variants Tricylinder.
Now I design Megaminx based on 15 cylinders and wait for the print Megaminx based on 10 cylinders, 4 have already arrived.
