The first "Case Cube" is a derivate of the Fisher Cube. It can be seen in the database. Nowadays there are many other variants which bear this name. The one shown here is special because it is mass produced.
All of the variants named "Case Cube" have in common that the axis system is rotated inside the solid like the Fisher Cube and additional pieces were glued onto the cube in at least one dimension.
The year given here is an upper bound. This puzzle was shown in "The book of ingenious and diabolical puzzles" from 1994.
The images shown here steem from a sample Thomas de Bruin presented in 2007.

Mefferts sells his version under the name "Box Cube" with black and white body.
Since 2020 YiSheng offers a stickerless version.
Weight: 99 grams
