Although looking as a Dino Cube the turning of this puzzle is complete different. There are 6 throughgoing axes around which twists of 180 are possible. This puzzle is deepcut since all cutting planes intersect at a single point. Even more impressive: It allows jumbling turns.
After finishing this puzzle the inventor gave it two names: "The 24 Cube" and "Rua tekau ma-wha" but since this puzzle was theoretically known way longer under the name "Little Chop", this name still sticks throughout the forum. The first version of this puzzle was a complicated puzzle with many more pieces on the inside but hides all these additional pieces. After its first invention there were other custom built versions including some which rely on magnets. The images are taken from one of these versions with magnets.
Piece type signature: HE1[T12][]
In Oct 2013 Jason Smith presented a version of Little Chop which does NOT allow jumbling turns. Please refer to the 5th image.
In 2017 a mass produced version was released under the name "Chromium Cube". See images 6-14. It is available with black, white and transparent body and with normal and super stickers.
In 2019 the metalized versions with four colours (images 15-16) and three colours (images 17-18) were added.
Edge length: 70 mm
