This is another cube celebrating an anniversary of the Rubik's Cube. See the museum for the other enniversary cubes. One reason why there are so many is that one could nail two years for the birth of the cube. This one refers to the Ernö Rubik's wooden prototype that he built in 1974.
The design and especially the package resemble the various ITC packages from the original cube craze. Ironically that cube craze took place six years after the invention.
