The llusion 3x3x3 has black&white checkerboard patterns on all six sides but one comes with an inverted pattern. Solving that layer solves the other layers.
The illusions cube is a popular sticker pattern that has been implemented for a number of puzzle. Strangely a variant for the 3x3x3 has not been documented until 2022.
This sticker mod is such an obvious one that its addition to the museum is just a 'gap filler' exercise. Although the example shown is a hand-stickering, similar stickerless cubes can be purchased online under names such as 'checkerboard 3x3 version C'.
