The
next corner that has a blue sticker in it is the YELLOW, ORANGE & BLUE corner
cubie. Remember again, taking away the blue, means that it's mate is the YELLOW
and ORANGE edge cubie.
They both happen to be on top, but again, we are
not in Situation No 1. We are aiming to get into Situation No 1, or No 2 again.
|
In
this case, trap the corner cube underwater by turning the orange face once clockwise.
This also pushes the hole to the top layer. This
is ok, because the hole contains garbage cubies and we are now free to move our
edge cubie around without disturbing our corner piece.
|
So
now, turn the white face twice so that the yellow and orange edge cubie ends up
here. Can you see what's about to happen?.... |
Turn
the orange face once anti-clockwise once to return our corner cubie to the top
again, which has also joined it together perfectly with it's edge cubie. They
are now a pair, and we are in Situation No 2 again! |
All
that's left is to get our orange and yellow pair into the hole between the orange
and yellow centre pieces. So to best see this happen, let's look on the side of
the cube where the orange and yellow centre pieces are. Notice our pair are on
the other side of the cube.
|
Let's
get them readied into place by turning the white face twice. |
Now
turn the orange face clockwise once to line it up with the pair, ready to receive
them. |
Turn
the top face anti-clockwise once to join the whole section together. |
Turn
the orange face anti-clockwise once to place the whole block back under the waterline.
Great. We now have two pairs in place. Two to go.
Go to Step 5. |
