Let me say this, you have no idea how close that is to a puzzle I'm building now. It's so close, but still different. Anyway, it looks much better than your previous build. You're definately getting better working with sheet. I'm very bad a working with sheet, so for my puzzle, I have some pieces made, and I'll mold and cast the rest.
Great job. Take your time "cleaning it up" and be sure to post pictures when you're done.
As for a name, sorry can't think of anything for you. You should be naming it, you made it and its original.

We were work on the same puzzle and didn't know ha ha ha the same thing happened to timeselkirk and Thomas. I just dont know what to name it. I don't want to name it after myself, because im not the only one making one. I was thinking of a name based off of the container, because the diagonal cut makes its look like one when its turned on that axis.

In the pictures it clearly shows it with a mini 2x2 as the mech.

If you make the solved state like the "180 degree turn" image, then you could call it the kite cube deltoidal cube I suppose (or, are those names already taken?).

I thought I had heard of a kite cube somewhere, but couldn't remember. I suppose you could call it the "Kite Prism", which kinda weasels around that and is more accurate anyways.

WHY IS EVERYTHING MADE FROM a SKEWB!?!?!? Seriously though, ask anyone here if about half of TP mods are from a skewb. They are all gonna say yes unless they're stupid! That kite cube is awesome though, as well as TheAtarian's mod.

The Kite Cube and the Kite Cube II are not Skewb mods. They are both made from Rubik's UFOs.

Are you serious? That's is awesome! I guess I can't tell because when a UFO and a Skewb is turned, the turn is a turn of half of the puzzle. ALWAYS.

Well as a person who owns many Skewb Mods, I believe they are just easier to work with. To create new shapes and extensions. With cuboids, you're pretty much restricted to the core - especially if it's a Rubik versus ES brand.
There's less innards to deal with, so you can create more interesting shapes and/or deeper cuts. And the angles can also be more tweaked about - and semi turns (like the BiCone and Golden Cube).
Think about it - A Container, Mental Puck, Golden Cube, Rhombic Dodecahedron (plus countless more)... All different shapes but all the same puzzle!!

The fact that the Skewb is a deep-cut puzzle helps at lot as well.
Meanwhile Rubik's cubes ( N > 2 but not including 2) are not.
A deep-cut puzzle means all of the planes (slices) of rotation intersect at single point, so in theory you could just continually build up on the puzzle and it will look the same (sans size ratio).

What about 2x2 Windmill Prism.
It's more of a prism than a cube.

It's not nessasary to have a windmill on each side for its to be a windmill cube, because the 3x3x3 windmill cube doesn't.
I will stick with 2x2 Windmill Prism unless i find one even better or someone else has use the name. Thanks everone for the suggestions!
