1.1.10
http://users.skynet.be/gelatinbrain/App ... eca_f9.htm
Solved the bottom 6 centers.
Solved the top center.
Used a 3 cycle to solve the remaining 5.
Had a hard time swapping only 2 pieces. (Parity)
Solved edges.
Solved like a megaminx.

So I solved all the centers of this guy except for two '+centers' that need to be swapped and are on adjacent faces. Not yet sure how I'm going to pair the edges either. I could treat it as a pyraminx crystal to flip that 'edge block' in order to swap the center pieces but that is parity. Hem.... must ponder this more.
Oh and I solved the gigaminx just now.

Okay SOVLED! Pairing edges is almost the same as doing it for the gigaminx. I'm getting faster at the megaminx finishing step.
So what next?
Stick to the 12-sided guys, or move over to other ones? I have solved most of the 4-sided ones, those create some interesting challenges. Start with the Face-turning one, the Halpern-Meier pyramid first I'd recommend. It's the best 4-sided analogue to the regular 3x3.

I've solved the following puzzles.
1.1.1
1.1.2
1.1.3
1.1.9
1.1.10
2.2.1
2.2.2
2.4.1
2.4.2
3.1.1
3.1.2
3.1.3
3.1.4
3.2.1
3.2.4
3.4.2
4.1.1
(Came close on 4.1.2 and 4.1.3. If I had them in real life, it would be easier to figure out)
4.2.1
5.1.1
5.1.2
5.1.3
5.1.4
5.3.1 (Master Morphix minus 4 of the corners and restricted to half turns.)
I think I could solve 5.3.2. Should be a 4x4 mod restricted to half turns.

Wow, that's great Noah! I have only solved a 1 or 2 of the applets, but I only got it working a few days ago! When my workload has gone down, I want to try one of the more challenging puzzles.
Any chance you or someone could make a solution page / guide for those puzzles? That would be really interesting!

I was just working on this one: http://users.skynet.be/gelatinbrain/App ... exa_v5.htm
The 3.2.6. I'm pretty sure I solved it but into a color scheme it doesn't recognize as solved. I think this needs to be fixed and count it as solved. Well I'm going to count it. There are only two color schemes for which this will 'look' solved. It would take a ton of work to get it to the other solved position I think.
So I will count the ones I've solved so far:
1.1.1 (Megaminx)*, 1.1.2, 1.1.3 (Pyraminx Crystal)*
1.1.9 (Gigaminx), 1.1.10
3.1.x*
3.2.1 (Skewb)*, 3.2.4 (Dino Cube)
3.2.6
5.1.1, 5.1.2 (Halpern-Meier Pyramid)
5.1.3 (Pyraminx)*, 5.1.4 (Master Pyraminx)
5.3.1, 5.3.2
*denotes solved in real life.
Need to Solve (for my record keeping purposes):
1.1.4, 1.1.5, 1.1.6, 1.1.7 (Pentultimate), 1.1.8
1.2.x, 1.3.x, 1.4.x
2.x.x
3.2.2 (Master Skewb), 3.2.3, 3.2.5 (Lattice Cube)
3.3.x, 3.4.x, 3.5.x
4.x.x
5.4.x
6.x.x

This one seems to be missing the "shift click" functionality:
http://users.skynet.be/gelatinbrain/App ... eca_f4.htm
I would totally abuse the slice turns for solving certain pieces of this guy.
Something to be proud of, is that since my last post, I've solved the 2.4.2 (10 color Alexander's Star), I can't seem to find the patience to solve the 6 color version, but have solved my real one many times, so that should count. Did 2.2.1 and 2.2.2 as well, which where both pretty strightforward applications of pyraminx crystal and megaminx algs respectively.
Hem... maybe I should give up on 1.1.5 and go do 4.1.2 and 4.1.3 to one-up Noah . We are pretty neck-and-neck so far. Although..., I did most of these in the last 36 hours.

I didn't realize it was a competition. I thought it was more of a collaborative project. (See my newest thread in the speedsolving forum.)

Maybe you are talking about another ? Thank you for your comments. Some minor problems will be fixed at next update. Pyramorphix and Stella octangula puzzles too, they are coming soon.
Well it's sort of like a 3 layer puzzle. He wants to move the center slice.
I don't blame him. It looks like it would be mighty useful.

It would be useful! And I do think it should be classed as a 3 layer puzzle. I don't see how else to solve it efficently without using lots of those types of turns.

This is apparently a 3 layer puzzle.
I mean 3 layers per axis, as same as Megaminx, Pyraminx Crystal and 3x3x3.
But it's oK, twist center slice by "shift+click".
Technically no problem at all, and it would be useful.

I've encountered a few more like that, which are 3-layered. I wasn't keeping track of which though. Now that I know you are willing to make this change, I'll have to list them out for you when I encounter them again. In general they whrere of the 12-sided or 8-sided varitety as these have pretty high plane-symmetries, and the ones missed where generally the deeper cut ones.
