Hmm massed produced sq-1s, this is looking promising for some rarer puzzles to be mass produced?
Possibly a 2x3x3 in the near future?

Are they going to be "chinese knockoff" quality, like the (old) minxes, or more like the DIY cubes you sell? somewhere in between?

I'm first going to wait for some user feedback, then, if the price is acceptable probably get 4 black and 3 white.

This sample photo is red, too.
Is red Square-1 listed ?
If red is listed with white and black, I want the red with others.
Red looks so cool !

they have bulges in the corners...
Looks like it is lock the layers together, like skewbs etc....
That would hinder smoothness.

2 things.
Are they only going to be available for those 2-3 weeks only?
And, sorry for not quite understanding, will they be DIY? Yes or no?

you mean, what cubesmith is getting people to be used to. At belgium open I saw Ron has got a square-1 with the 'normal' color scheme, it was very nice.

Cubesmith isn't getting people used to a colour scheme, those colours are the ones on Square - 1s.
You can buy standard colour scheme off Cubesmith, that's what Ron did.

Well, sorry actualy I didn't mean cubesmith gets people to this color scheme but it is the most sold I think so most people have it... I checked cubesmith and it says indeed 2 types now, very nice. Personaly I have a very strange scheme with silver on it which (the cube was originaly totaly silver).
(btw I can't sole the square-1 anymore, I forgot the 2 algs I learned for it)

that'd be cool. What about a 2-layer? I've never seen this before but, a one layer? That'd be cool to see if someone made it... Wouldn't you just bandage a two layer?

Skate: the 2-layer is not fully functional. Therefore, the 1-layer would be so not exciting at all.
