I recently got one of Tony's new container puzzles. I had an older one that I thought Tony had made, but I found out today that he didn't. Anyone know who has made container puzzles before? The quality is very good.

I mentioned before it was possibly made by Katsuhiko. You can check this by looking closely at the plastic. His puzzles have microscopic lines from the machining. This is also apparent on his Master Pyraminx

I doubt it Tony as I asked him ages ago if he would ever produce your container (well before you were on line). He said no as he wanted to start making his own inventions.
He might have produced one before I asked the question though, so I might be wrong!

I have never made container puzzles until now.
Therefore, that small container was made by somebody else.

I found out who made my small container from a keychain skewb. I will give him a week to post a claim to this puzzle, otherwise I will let you all know after Thanksgiving.

Yes it looks like it was mine.
After a check in my old emails and a final check with Dodd it appears that it was the one I made for another collector in 2002, that Dodd now has in his possession. I have only ever made two of these, this one and one for me.
As Dodd says it is made from a keychain Skewb, the dimensions are therefore much smaller than it's original brother. The dimensions of a side are 64 x 45mm. Personally I find this much more 'user friendly' (a term I don't like a lot ) than the large version, but, at the time this excellent puzzle was first created by Tony, there were no keychain Skewbs.

Another mystery solved.

You lucky dog Dodd!

Anthony's puzzles seem to be pretty tough to get, maybe I can get lucky enough someday.

I did get one of Tony's new ones also. I might trade Anthony's if the trade is right. It would have to be a nice custom made puzzle of equal quality.
