I am taking orders for the 6 and 10 tile magics that I created. The prices for the puzzles are:

6 Tile: 30USD
10 Tile: 50USD
Both: 70USD <--Best Deal!

The prices include shipping to the USA.

I will be accepting Paypal, and may accept other methods; PM me if you have questions. I will most likely offer free shipping worldwide, but I will need to evaluate the cost on a case by case basis. Trade offers will also be accepted if they interest me.

This offer will be good until July 15, and due to the labor vs. free time factor I would prefer to limit it to 1 of each per person, but if you want more, PM me and I will work it out.

I will fill the orders as they are received, right now I have enough parts on hand to make approximately 4 of each, after that I will need to order more parts to fill the orders. I will send out messages to let buyers know what the expected timeline will be, and to arrange payment and delivery of the puzzles.

The puzzles will be as shown in the pictures with the addition of a small logo in the corners.

Enjoy Your Puzzles!
Adam

Those look awesome!!! I have a questions for you. I know there is a special type of printer out there to print out the magic squares (to make them look brighter & darker) of paper but it is not a normal printer. Sorry I forget the name of it. Do you know what I'm talking about? Or did you use a normal printer to print those out with?

To answer some of the questions:

There is a special kind of printer. I think it is called a solid state printer, but I don't know much more than that. The inserts for production puzzles would be printed in a multi-layer process, and use special inks to give different parts a shiny or matte finish.

As for these puzzles, they were printed on a color laser printer on standard office paper, nothing special. I drew up the puzzle design on the high tech computer design program ... Microsoft Excel. I then copied the design to Microsoft Word to print it. (Excel doesn't print the design square for some strange reason) The printed design is in 3 parts; 2 for the front and 1 for the back. (If you are the first person to figure out why I would need 3 parts for 2 sides ... you will win a free puzzle :D )

After that it is just a matter of cutting out the inserts and stringing it up. Thanks to the articles, this was not too difficult.

Sometimes (not always), I use a middle (hard paper) part for stability (when stringing). That way, the papers will always be properly aligned. I am not sure if you are also doing this for the same reason. LOL

Is it because the 5 tile length is longer than the printable area of the paper you're printing on?

I will be taking orders for these puzzles until Saturday July 15th.

Only a few days left to place your orders!

For those of you that have placed orders, I just got the parts in that I need to build the rest of the puzzles, so I should be able to get them done in the next 2-3 weeks. A couple of the orders will be shipping this week.

After these are done I will most likely offer another couple designs...

Enjoy!
Adam
