I was at the store today and saw that the new Rubik's 3x3 come with a new sticker. It was for the 25th aniversary of Rubik's. It also came with a black stand with silver lettering saying "Rubik's Cube".

Are those on a sheet? They don't appear to be on a cube. I was wondering if I ordered a DIY from Rubiks.com if it would come with the new logo.

oh Wowee, Stefan, is that the cube that you got from the Spanish Championships? It looks really awesome (With the case and all that lol)!
and blogan:
yes, they are the sticker sheets (replacement stickers), I had 3 sets leftover from the competition that I held, so yeah, it isn't on the cube.

Did it have the same case shown in Stefan's photo?

The one I saw had basically the same case as before (plus extra to hold the stand), but nothing like Stephen posted.

Wow!! That's a nice package. The one I got at Wal Mart is just the basic package. In fact, there is no mention of the 25th Anniversary on the package at all.

Ahhh...
thanks Stefan for the the very informative pictures. When I saw the photo for the first time here on the forum, I thought the cover was a mod. Some kind of babylonian zikkurat cube.
