You may not be able to delete a post once it has been viewed, but I am not sure about that.

You can delete the last post in a thread, regardless of its age or whether it has been viewed. So if I delete this post, then DLitwin could probably delete his post, then khjs534 could probably delete his, and finally SilverPotato might be able to delete the thread. Want to try it? 8-)

Actually this discussion has made the thread (slightly) useful!

All worked as VWP predicted. Three posts on a thread, then three deletions and it went away.

So this could go away too, but for the fact that it now serves a purpose.
