I like it. I think it could be the cover image for a Rubik's magazine (are there cube mags?).

Ah yes, it can light a match and pop balloons! It's really neat to shine it outside when it's dark because you can see the line between the laser and the dot.

eBay! You can buy just about everything on eBay! They're somewhat -cough- not legal in the US, at least to sell, so I got mine from the UK! They're kinda hard to come by, and can be quite expensive, so if you're interested in one, take your time finding one to get a good deal.

Well, I paid about $150 or $200 for mine, which seems like alot, but they go for about $700+ dollars on sites like wicked lasers. On eBay there are some listed at $400. That seems ridiculous for just a laser, and I suppose it depends on what your interests are. I tried to sell mine on eBay about a year ago and the listing got deleted! I can't remember exactly how much it was, but I'll try to look it up.

You can easily see the beam of a 5mw green laser as long as its reasonably dark. It's a trait of the color, not the power.
I used a green laser for stargazing so a 150mw unit would be pretty useless to me. Although it would be VERY very cool to own.
Just be careful. You'll shoot your eye out.

Exactly. I have both a 5mw and a 150mw. The 5mw was about $10 and is probably the best bet for your money. To tell you the truth, unless you would like to buy my 150mw from me, I would recommend just getting a 5mw to enjoy the view of it in the dark. The burning is cool, but it's not everything. I'll post pictures comparing the power of each so you can see the difference. The 150mw is much, much more powerful, but the 5mw still gets the job done.
Also, I believe that you're right, Jin. I think that you can only technically legally own one of these is for business use. It's very dangerous, but still awesome! I suppose it's legal to sell in other countries though. Maybe the person who sold it to me just got under eBay's radar.
