He said it because he thought that swordsman kirby's post
Quote:

was unnecessary, so he saged it.

Firstly it was Rick who said "..." and Swordsman who "SAGE". I believe he was actually "SAGE"ing the posts above Rick's, the ones by Scary Cube.

Sorry for my typo's and misunderstandings. I was mainly trying to explain the concept of saging a post, since scary cube missed the whole sage problem

Edit: I just went back, and reread the thread. I definetly think he was saging the TRIPLE POST by scary cube.

Now that's what I call a collection.

In the middle of the last picture, what's the puzzle with the brown stickers?
And on the left, is that a siamese 2x2x3?

The one with the brown stickers is a Mama Skewb. (A Cuboctahedron Skewb).
http://twistypuzzles.com/cgi-bin/puzzle.cgi?pid=674

And on the left, it does indeed look that way.

If so, that would be very very simple. More or less the same a siamese 2x2x1.

Oh, yes. I see it now.
Oscar took the photo with a tricky angle.

That can easily be fixed. If you, or anyone else, has an intereting custom Rubik's puzzle, just let me know.

The other puzzles is this one:
http://twistypuzzles.com/cgi-bin/puzzle.cgi?pid=1333

It was too trivial for me to worry about the angle.

Very impressive. On the left I see a few Tony Fisher puzzles and on the right I recognise a Flexible Hexagon. But I'd prefer some additionals close-up shots. :-)

Edit: Okay, I just noticed the link to your website. I'll take a look.

Edit 2: Yes... very impressive indeed.

I know that David Calvo made that edges only cube.

Shawn Dayton (myself) made the keychain fisher cube and the case cube.

Hope that helps.

Oscar, do you have any more pictures or discriptions of the other 4 sides of the custom 3x3 sticker variation shown to the upper left of the 5x5 Shepherd's cube? I've never seen that before and it looks quite interesting.

Here's my collection of various puzzles, current as of today. As you can see, I like sticker mods. Perhaps it's time for me to get into some more complex mods...

Soon to be a Pyraminx Crystal (it better), a 6x6, and a 7x7. That Rubik's 2x2 is stupid and has a slightyly different mech than the ice cube, so certain pieces go into certain places.

And sorry that my photos are way too big! Over 1.5 mb!!

Here's an updated picture of my collection.
I'm guessing this is about one fifth of everything I got.
But the rest is stored in boxes, waiting to be modified.

After some time I got my puzzle gallery finished. Most of the puzzles are assembly puzzles, like interlocking burrs, japanese puzzle boxes etc:
http://puzzles.schwandtner.info

But of course there are some (about 100) twisty puzzles, even some custom builds:

http://puzzles.schwandtner.info/grid_twisty.html

Not very spectacular and not very many, but a good count to solve them from time to time, not just watch them. Note that there is not one unsolved puzzle in the gallery! ;)

I don't know how to build a webpage, or how to add puzzles/pictures to the site, so I put a bunch of my puzzles on Picasa. Take a look at these two pages:
http://picasaweb.google.com/katsmom01/Puzzles2
and
http://picasaweb.google.com/katsmom01/Puzzles
and
http://picasaweb.google.com/katsmom01/Puzzles3

I still have another two or three boxes to take photos of and that of course takes time. I'll post a page 3 when I get to it.
If any of the puzzles are missing from the data base, and someone knows how to load them, feel free to do so.

Thanks to some attentive forum member remarks I found out that on some systems and browsers a good part of my puzzle gallery had some pretty unreadable fonts. Now it should work on all systems, so if you did not like the site because of unreadable fonts, please visit it again. :D

Of course, I could have posted my gallery to the "show your V-CUBEs"-thread. ;)

The purple/gold one is a standard Isis (the version sold in the US through The Sharper Image). That one I have solved. The other one is a special edition Isis 1C. They only made 10 (or 11) of them, and so far only 1 person has solved theirs. Not me, not yet, I'm still working on it :).

The Isis II should be out in the next month or 2 and they are planning on 2 versions of it, a standard version and a more difficult version for those of us who have solved one of the original one. I plan on getting one of each when they come out.

Now as far as the riddles for prizes that you can try to figure out after solving an Isis, I've gotten no where. I'm better at mechanical puzzles then I am at riddles.

very nice! I've only held one once...at The Sharper Image store...I twisted it a couple of times but didn't spend enough time with it to try and figure it out. I began reading about them and heard a lot about people breaking theirs while trying to open it because you were supposed to 'hit it on something solid with some force' :/ I don't think I'd wanna do that with a $200 puzzle lol

anyway, here's my small collection :) (still growing though, with a green/gold deluxe elemental on the way :))

Where the heck did you find a purple Super Mario Brother puzzle can? Stupid question. Is that a Spanish version?

Nothing earthshattering, but I like how the collection shapes up.
