Hi everyone,
I've just finished my truncated bump cube. The cube turned out so well and its very smooth, I'm really happy I made this puzzle. I'm nit the inventor if this cube the first invertor was Benjy Oliver (sunnwinder) His version
I made the cube with a dremel, than I filled the pieces whit milliput. After filling the pieces I fine-tuned it and than i sprayed the pieces.
I don't have the stickers yet but if the stickers arrive I'll update this post. I'm thinking of green stickers so I can call it: The bump leaf cube. But if anyone has another idea for the stickers just post it, I think it's also cool if other people share their opinions on the stickers.
Also the center caps look a bit weird but the stickers will cover it.

Where its truncated it rounds into the untruncated pieces, look in the museum for a truncated cube and you'll see how where its truncated its a lot sharper rather than round

Will you add any separate stickers to the truncated edges?

No I'll only put stickers on the flat side.

It looks lovely! And that is an incredible finish you've managed to get on the pieces as well. Is there a particular method or paint that you used to get that finish?

Thank you,
It's actually a funny story: first I painted it but is was bubbly and the pieces looked like crap. So I sanded the pieces and I put a topic on the forum on how to spray paint you cubes. But its really easy, you just have to spray 5 very thin layers of paint and you don't want to rush it and try to cover the pieces in one layer of paint.

Kind regards,
Max Knoop
