Hi guys,
I have just finished my void cheese and triangle sticker mod.
I know it's quite cheesy, but have a look what you think.

*** I'll re-aply the stickers and post new photos. Sorry for inconvenience.***

 Very cute and creative! The grimace has no set solved state but the cheese does, correct?

I don't know which is more genius: The puzzle itself or the presentation.

Thanks all.
I just spoiled it by trying to make more holes in it.
Plastic was much harder to drill through, than I expected.
I wanted even to make teeth marks on the edge and make holes between the slices, but it did not happen.
It was also very hard to cut stickers around those holes.

Grimace has some overlapping patterns on it as well, just on the other side.
However it looks like I spoiled stickers last night as I put it onto a wet patch on the table.

С мышками были проблемы, поэтому пришлось применить дрель! 8-)

It's nearly a magic to make that void cheese......I realized how it turns 180 degree after the last photo. Nice design~

I think some concave surface is better than having some holes on it. Just my opinion~

There are holes designed on the puzzle, so no need to make holes in the puzzle !

You are right all!
These extra holes look awful!
I'll re-do the spoiled stickers and re-post the photos.
Will also make a video.
Promise.

Just wondering, this looks like it's made form the mass-produced Cheese.. was the mechanism modified at all to allow for the void, or can I hypothetically stick the Cheese under a drill press and come out with a functioning puzzle?

Nice. Is this a mod, or did you make it the traditional way - by curdling milk and processing the curd before ripening? :)

Hypothetically you can stick it under the drill press, though I can't guarantee you won't destroy it that way.
I was a bit more gentle with it.
At first I practiced on spare UFO puzzle.
I carefully took it apart and used side-cutters to cut out the middle spider.
I damaged the outside ring, but when I glued it back together again, it worked.
UFO was working without 3 axis's.
For my void cheese version I decided to strengthen the ring of the core with milliput first (As per Tony Fisher's advice, thanks, Tony) and then I cut the core spider out.
I then filed internal srews of the core to a minimum.
Here is the picture of my trial core.

I was thinking of making it from milk and then eat it, but decided to just buy plastic thing after all as I don't have any cows. :D

Thank you.
I'm just changing the stickers on it to cover up the extra holes.
They did not work the way I planned them.
