Greeting All

I proudly present to you my latest puzzle mods,,
So this cube was inspired by Chimera Cube (http://www.twistypuzzles.com/cgi-bin/pu ... ?pkey=3282) made by TomZ.
Since there is no chance for me to buy that cube.
I decided to make them myself by bandaging a 6x6x6 Cube to try simulates Chimera Cube.

After I finished it and try to solve it I realized that I had made it much more complex than the original cube.
Because after being scrambled the most outer layer can still be mixed between the 4x4x4 piece & 6x6x6 piece.

Well anyway I hope you like this new variation of a bandaged 6x6x6 cube..























nb:
After I look it over and over I feel this cube was more look like a "Mixed Bin Cube"..hmmmm
Btw should we give this cube a new name to differentiate it from the original.
What do you guys think?

It looks brillant! Really nicely done.

The only thing I'm not too keen on is the mix of black and white plastic. I would've kept it all a single colour.

I do like the mix of black and white, it gives extra colour to the cube especially when it's scrambled.

It would seem that the two different colors of plastic is a controversy.
I cannot tell if I like that or not . Mechanically this puzzle would be very fun to solve though.

Thank you very much for your input. I will try it on my next project.
But basicly the reason behind this is I don't have enough patience to paint them and I don't feel like to resticker them,,
besides I don't have enough sticker..
Although I realized that this colour gives an extra exclamation between the 4x4 pieces & 6x6 pieces,,
I think it's unique and interesting..
