Magic octahedron type not in museum?

I was browsing the internet, and found an octahedron that is vertex turning, but has ball bearings. Is there any info about this? I'm a little intrigued. Thanks!

Ah, yes. I saw this too. The auction had about a day left, and I was the high bidder at about 25 dollars. The final price was about 200 dollars, which is way out of my budget

That's the difference, the small metallic balls with springs, like in a pyraminx.
