Here's a really good one:
My center will always lie in the sun's shadow of your head. What am I?

Nope, nothing like that. In any case, your nose could only cast a shadow to the *side* of your head's shadow, not within it. This is such a good one.

I'm going to put a time burner riddle up just for fun. This one happens to be my favorite.
We are very little creatures; all of us have different features. One of us in glass is set; one of us you'll find in jet. Another you may see in tin, and a fourth is boxed within. If the fifth you should pursue, it can never fly from you. What are we?

Since QuickSolver's answer was never confirmed, I will give a new riddle.
One night at a bank, 1 million dollars went missing. The police were called and it was determined to be an inside job. The people working that night were Mark, Will, and Rob. With no clue's in the case, the detectives don't know how to proceed. Then the next morning a detective finds a note on the desk. It says "If you want to find your thief?" Who is the thief?

-Doug The person who called the police? Or the detective himself? Or maybe I have watched too much Scoobie Doo, where the villain always turns out to be the only other character in the plot.

Then "Rob", because that's what he did.

"If you want to find your thief?" is obviously key to riddle. Way he wrote it may be important. Grammar isn't correct, so it probably suggest someone who isn't English. BTW can we ask yes/no question to get closer to find thief? I only mean things that Detective may know, so we can know this too

Shua wrote: Mark did it. the note said to "question mark" That just implies that questioning Mark will lead to the culprit. Perhaps Mark witnessed the crime? On a side-note, I hate riddles based on word games or alternative interpretations of specific word combinations. Unfortunately this excludes almost all riddles.

The whole refers to the original Apple records logo (which was green thus the jealous reference), whereas the Apple Inc logo has a bite taken out. I had to make this riddle up myself so that you couldn't just look up the answer on Google.

Call me thick, but I don't see how the two relate? Is the answer Apple Inc. Or is it Apple Records? It can't be both because unless I'm really missing something, the two companies are not one. Wouldn't the answer just be "Apple"? Please explain this to me.

Rox, you are right, Apple Records is the Beatles record label, nothing to do with Apple Inc. (except for their recent trademark fight when Apple Inc. moved into iTunes and music).

The Apple Records logo used to be a green apple on black vinyl LPs, then a rainbow apple with a bite from it on computers, then a metallic one on shiny toys. Simples.
