I can't attend this years Dutch Cube Day but I have a tiny request for someone who is. The last three years I have made walking around / browsing videos- 2011, 2010, 2009 . I think it would be great if someone made a similar video of this years event. I am happy to host such a video if necessary but it really doesn't matter where or by whom it is hosted.

I'll be there this weekend. I'll do my best to see if I can get a walk around video of the event, but either way I'll definitely be taking pictures.

You can find a few photos that I took over the DCD weekend here: Dutch Cube Day (DCD) 2012 - FlickrI didn't take as many as planned. I kept getting distracted by so many puzzling things!

The image labeled "Willem's Puzzle Table" actually shows the table of Frank Tiex and Claus Wenicker. Not taking as many puzzle as intended is normal.
My own images are mostly nonsense. The two exceptions are these:

This would explain why Tony didn't seen any floating around. Perhaps we need to test this...

Thanks for the correction Andreas. goetz wrote: Nice to see some pictures of the Fidgety Rabbits I brought to DCD. Thank you, Oli! Thank you for bringing them along Goetz! It was great to be able to solve them for myself, and to finally meet you in person after reading your website for so long. Now I just have to try and track down a copy of Fidgety Rabbits for my own collection.

I wouldn't know about peta's, but it is well known a standard Rubik 3x3x3 does float. This years complimentary puzzle can most likely be carried by the wind:

Heyyyy I crawled for these guys in the picture haha. I was looking at the smallest cubes, telling him I didn't dare turn it, so small. Then he did himself and POP went an edge. On the floor. I immediately went down on my knees and searched along. He found it, thank goodness. I am in the overview picture actually *grin* When you put the whole picture to fit on your screen, pretty much halfway up in the screen on the left, the horizontal tables, you can see someone in a dark brown shirt with light brown sleeves showing someone something. That show-er is I *grin* Edit: actually I was showing him how to do F2L *giggle* Just remembered

Yey, lucky that I really found the piece on this patterned floor:) Maybe I was a liitle bit experienced from at home and the GCD 2012, when a 8x8x8 popped completely Things like these happen.. Frank
