Only joking Actually I am not. Well if I don't make it who else is going to? Like I said a while ago everything should be made at least once and the rest of you seem to be wasting your time on new innovative clever worthwhile stuff! Anyway it's all Kelvin's fault. Ok it's not a Triple Fused VOID Petaminx but it will have to do. There are two basic ways to make the puzzle, the easy way and the slightly less easy way. The easy way involves partial disassembly and super glue. As long as you line things up you're probably done in about 30 mins plus stickering time. I chose the less easy way. This invloves making and casting special joining pieces. I chose this method because it is reversible so I have the option to recover the three Petaminxes again if I wish. There are certainly no rules when it comes to puzzles but the term "fused" I guess is more commonly used when puzzles are joined end to end to end. This however would have been far more difficult and wouldn't gain much more. Having decided on how I would join the puzzles I still had the option to make them in a row. This however would have resulted in a completely unmovable central Petaminx. As you can see in the video the puzzle moves pretty much the same as a regular Petaminx. I believe the puzzle breaks several unofficial twisty world records like- most stickers, most parts, most combinations, most stupidest etc etc. I will shortly add a speeded up full stickering video. In real time it took a bit under three hours. I have added some .pngs for Andreas at the bottom. Woah, this looks fantastic! Please, please do me a favour: Take a video of people's reactions watching you casually solve this in public, as if it's no big deal. I am sure the video would go viral BIG TIME!

WOW!!! That looks crazy in a good way. This pic makes me think of some giant catapiller or maybe a slinkey. And now he looks like he's about to take his first steps. Walking at such a young age! This puzzle will surely take over the world in no time! Carl

Tony I showed my wife some pics of this and she said "Wow!!!" then she paused and asked "Why would he do that?" I just mumbled some excuse about that's what you do for a living, but it would be much easier to explain if there was some childhood experience which scarred you for life. So... Awesome work by the way. I myself am just astonished by it.

My description of what Fused and Siamese means to me. Hopefully this helps you people understand it better. Siamese = Always has a columns or rows of cubies shared by 2 cubes depending on which way your looking at it. It may have more columns or rows then one. http://twistypuzzles.com/cgi-bin/puzzle.cgi?pkey=1271Fused = Is where two cubes shares a cube of any size between them. http://twistypuzzles.com/cgi-bin/puzzle.cgi?pkey=660

Nice video. Did you do that stickering all in one sitting? BTW, what does your partner have to say about you spending £680 just on Petaminxes?
