First off, I'm new and I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask this question.
Would placing super stickers on a puzzle that has orbits (ex. helicopter cube), be any more challenging even with jumbling? I feel as though the super stickers would act as a guide to make the solve easier.

Super stickers usually make things harder.

On the Helicopter cube, without jumbling, super stickers reveal an intersting consequence of the orbits. The corners can be arranged into any orientation relative to the core and still look solved. Normally you can do the same for the center triangles but with super stickers you can see that the orbits don't cross each face the same way relative to each other. The only way to "permute" the same-color triangles relative to each other without jumbling moves is by changing the orientation of the puzzle. There are 24 permutations of 4 pieces and a cube has 24 orientations. Only one orientation works for the orbits when super-stickered.

On puzzles with centers (pieces where there is a move that can twist them without permitting them) generally don't maintain an overall constant twist. Super stickers reveal this and fixing this late in the solve is often rather hard.

wouldn't that mean that super-stickers on a curvy copter would be completely redundant?

Only if you don't jumble it.
