Hi guys and Girls.

I'm a newbie, looking into making my own puzzle modifications. I was hoping to make my own Ghost Cube. I would like if possible someone too send me or post here some high resolution pictures of the puzzle complete, set so all of the sides can turn and of the puzzle taken apart so I can see each pieces modification that would be amazing.

I know I'm probably taking on to much too soon but some people can swim in the deep end straight away. :)

Thanks in advance.

The search function is always helpful on this forum. Here's the thread from my own Mini ghost cube where you can see the work in progress and how I changed each piece. It's not shown taken apart, but you might find it helpful. Honestly a Ghost Cube is an easy mod. All you have to do is misalign everything as much as possible and cut it back into a cube (Purists may argue, but that's the basic idea).

Thanks for that it's appreciated. I'll post up when I start it.

I've got a quick and dirty SketchUp model which you might find useful.

It probably won't work. This has been discussed before. Basically, the gaps will cause trouble.

As far as buying one goes, you can get them pretty easily from the builders here. I believe they generally go for ~100USD.

Well when you are in your first year of highschool without a job, money for hand made puzzels can be tight unforunately. :?

Try it in your 3rd year of college.

I had a theory about solving the possible issues with gaps. But for now thats something I'm still not totally certain of so I'm going too see how it goes when I start the mod. A speed ghost cube would be pretty nice if I could get the problems worked out.

I have a hand made ghost cube that I picked up from ebay, although I think the maker is here on the forums. Once I get a chance I can take a few pics of the cube to give you a general idea as to mod a 3x3. At first I could not wrap my head around it as I wanted to make my own mod. I will still make my own mod for the practice.

I will try to get them up soon.
