Hi Non-Twisty Puzzles fans, The Daily Puzzle has ten tiles: four large ones and six small ones. Each tile has some black marking and some holes. The large tiles can be arranged to make all days of the month: 01-31. The small tiles can be arranged to make all months of the year: JAN-DEC. Every day, you have a puzzle to change the day, and every month you have a more difficult puzzle to change the month. The Daily Puzzle makes a great birthday gift. You can set the tiles to make the birthday of your friend. This way, you can personalize the puzzle. This puzzle has a long history. I made the original three-tile single-digit (0-9) design in July 1986. Wei-Hwa Huang improved my design into a four-tile two-digit design (01-31) in 2003. George Miller prototyped it in 2007. Tanya Thompson used this puzzle as IPP gift in 2008. Following my suggestion, Wei-Hwa designed a monthly JAN-DEC version as well, which Tanya Thompson used as her IPP gift in 2009. The commercial version of Daily Puzzle was released by Thinkfun mid 2012. So there have been 26 years between conception and production. This puzzle has been nominated for the People's Play Awards in the category "puzzles". Please go to People's Play Awards, search for "Daily Puzzle" and cast your vote. Thank you! Watch the YouTube video. Cast your vote at People's Play Awards (search for "Daily Puzzle"). Buy the puzzle at Thinkfun. Check out the photos below. Enjoy! Oskar Attachment:

Oskar, are you asking us to vote for your puzzle or the one we think is best? Not saying they are mutually exclusive.

I just got mine in but it came via Florida. Fun little thing. But to be honest, it's as irritating as all get out.
The design could have been better in my opinion. Not the puzzle, the tray. There is nothing to hold the bits in. They just rest in there so when I shifted my keyboard forward the other day. Bam! mucked up puzzle.

The original version was much more rugged and styled like a stationary store object (I have the original prototype in my office). Unfortunately, neither toy sellers nor stationary sellers understood the object. Next, Thinkfun brought the production cost to a bare minimum by using vacuum forming for the stand. Because of its $8 price point, it is suddenly becoming a best seller in the toys market. Nebagram wrote: I have seen one for sale on ebay with international shipping. That is great. You can also buy them in Europe at Happy Puzzle UK and at Gemclub. Tony Fisher wrote: Oskar, are you asking us to vote for your puzzle or the one we think is best? The perplexus twist looks like fun too - I have the original and epic. I still did vote for the daily puzzle though. It will go great next to my calendar cube.
