I have printed a 57mm 7x7, and wanted to show you all how it turned out!
The turning was very rough at first, but I eventually got to some CRC Silicon Spray, and that made the turning much better. I also noticed that when the pieces were delivered, 30% were deformed in various ways... But it works so thats what I'm happy about.

Are the misshapen pieces printed from shapeways or home-printer?

Looks nice. Any chance of a video? I wonder what caused the deformities. I ordered a (failed) puzzle not too long ago and a few of the pieces have small dents and/or bumps on them.

Thanks guys! The problem about the stickers may be the deformities on the parts, but I can definitely see a black version of it in the near future. I don't remember if I mentioned the caps to it, as they are not on in the photos. The caps don't want to stay on all the time.

Are the pieces hollow? Very thin walls can course distortion. I had that on a recent printed puzzle I purchased.
