Hello Everyone, today I started making this puzzle from the Gear Mastermorphinx, however I can't decided how to sticker it.



First of all I can't decide on a colour scheme. I didn't like the original colour scheme very much; Blue, Red, Green, Yellow. I much prefer White in place of Blue, but with that said, I also think the Meffert's fluorescent Tetrahedron colour scheme would work great on the puzzle, especially since it is Tetraminx inspired.

My second dilemma is sticker style. There is of course the standard sticker approach that would cover the majority of a piece or a style that I have devised would be to only sticker the extruding parts of the gear pieces with small stickers, much like spots.

I know its ultimately up to me, but i'd like some outside input on this one. So please give your opinions or better yet share your ideas on how I should sticker it!

Dumb question but here it goes.* Is your puzzle smaller? or is it that it doesn't have any stickers on it yet? Your puzzle pieces look huge compared to Traiphum Prungtaengkit and the KO version. Why is that?

Yes the puzzle is smaller than the mass produced Gear Mastermorphinx as I have truncated the tips. However I understand what you mean by it looking big, as I always think puzzles (particularly those with larger pieces) look larger without the stickers. I was pretty close to the puzzle when taking the pictures though, so that could be playing a part.

White, red, green & yellow?

I would choose : white, red, blue & yellow.
Then you have the 3 main colours, unmixed colours, green is a mix of blue and yellow, so I would choose blue instead of green.

I think you should sticker it so the cogs have visible orientation (a super version). I don't own one though so not sure how exactly.

I would sticker it with 12 colors, 3 colors on each face, divided something like this.

Don't the cogs already have orientation from their shape?

I started doing it on my puzzle, but SunnWinder your idea of twelve colours is much better than my idea of repeating four, thanks!
