Last weeks I've also been busy (besides of other activities) re-organizing the house, to get my daughter of 3 a room of her own in some weeks.

And look what I've found: my collection of puzzles I had in my teenage years (around 1980 - 1988). And also some items I added recently.

No arguing with the wife: the collection is still small (and largely not visible / show cased).

I acquired the puzzles (of some I even didn't know I acquired those) as of general interest. So I'm not a real collector of these kind of items (I am of other stuff) but I dare to show it here.

Ohh childhood memories.. that first picture bottom left corner.. I had that as a kid.. sigh..

This has made me very embarrassed!

I have just rearranged my study so I can get more toys when the post IPP flood starts.
When I rearranged my toys, I suddenly realised that my collection is NOT small any more!!
Have photographed it but too embarrassed to post it!!

My collection has grown fast since I started buying on eBay, about 10 years ago, I have now 937 puzzles.

Well that last comment makes me feel much better!!!

I think at last count I was just up to 400 (although to make it seem better, at least 60 of them are wire/string disentanglement puzzles!!)
I had better do as I am told and show you the pics:







I also have 2 drawers full of stuff which is not suitable for display and a few others dotted around the house! (Don't tell Mrs S!!! )

You will be pleased to know that there are 3 1⁄2 empty shelves ready to be filled up!!

OK Guys! I have 'fessed up!! Show us pictures of your collections - the collections section of the TP site just doesn't cut it anymore! We need pics!!!

I wish I could. I have about 400 puzzles, but they all have to be stored away in boxes in the loft (attic) because I have no room to display them. This makes me very sad

Send them ALL to me and I'll display them!!

Here the same, no room for display, the puzzles are in boxes. Some puzzles that I trying to solve are here and there in the house. Only about 10% of my puzzles are twisty's, the rest is wide variety of put-together, take-apart, wire, metal .....

And right now I sit with two SUITCASES full in my living room....

Just doing some re-organization right now (new cabinets!!), so I only have teasers at this point...I'll post a new topic when I get the chance. Just be sure to note that those boxes are all of the puzzles outside of the cabinets, not just the same stuff rearranged...
