This afternoon it became clear what the two hour giggling in the kitchen last night was about.



They actually calculated the most efficient way to cut the cake and the fondant to maximize the size of the cube (and being able to cover five faces). A perfect father’s day surprise! (needless to say I'm incredably proud).

But did it taste good?

For my father's day, I went to play in the regional finals of the Redtooth Poker pub league (don't ask). And when I got home I tried to finish the wallpaper stripping which needs to be finished by tomorrow, and I slipped and badly cut my wrist with the stripping tool. So one visit to the Accident and Emergency later, and I am typing this with one hand. An eventful Father's Day
