Hey guys. I discovered a new puzzle on YouTube . Rotary engine puzzle. Bellow are screen shots I took.
Apparently, you can mix the colors of the balls in each chamber and release the black balls into circulation, but watch out, if you have too many balls in one chamber, the engine will seize up! I think this puzzle is very cool!

So the grooves on the reuleaux triangle only accommodate as many balls as the chambers currently have. And since it is a reuleaux triangle, a curve of constant width, the marbles can't really mix up, am I right? When the black marbles are released, doesn't it the motor just jam up instantly? Or what am I missing?

The marbles can mix up. You open one port and let one black marble out and one colored marble in and close the port. Open the other port and release all black marbles and the colored one into the chamber. You can fill back the magazine with all you can or as many as necessary as to make sure that the engine won't seize up. That's where the trick is. You can have a few black marbles in circulation and the engine will run fine. Obviously, the question is how many. The number of marbles in one or all chambers depends on the size of " combustion chamber " in the orange rotary piston and also the height ( thickness ) of the piston. Right ?
