I was randomly browsing through recommended videos on youtube the other day, when I came around a video by a man named David C. Roy. He builds, what he calls, kinetic sculptures. Moving stuctures that do not have a purpose besides moving and sometimes making a sound. They are made with superb craftsmanship, and look amazing. My favorite piece is called 'Fiesta', because it also brings about an optical illusion.

I saw one of these at Hendrik's last summer. He had us fooled into thinking it was a clock. Too funny standing there trying to work out how to tell the time until he felt sorry for us and let the secret out.
