I was randomly browsing through recommended videos on youtube the other day, when I came around a video by a man named David C. Roy. He builds, what he calls, kinetic sculptures. Moving stuctures that do not have a purpose besides moving and sometimes making a sound. They are made with superb craftsmanship, and look amazing. My favorite piece is called 'Fiesta', because it also brings about an optical illusion.

Here are some examples of his works, but you really need to see the videos to see the beauty of these.

I saw one of these at Hendrik's last summer. He had us fooled into thinking it was a clock. Too funny standing there trying to work out how to tell the time until he felt sorry for us and let the secret out. :lol:
